Congratulations to Dr. ZHANG Zhicheng on earning his PhD
AANTC congratulates Dr. ZHANG Zhicheng on completing his doctoral studies and earning his PhD. His dissertation, “Towards aeroacoustic modelling for multi-rotor drones”, brings together experimental, theoretical and numerical approaches to drone noise.
His research includes noise measurements of multi-rotor drones in an anechoic chamber, the development of a rotor noise propagation model based on linearised theory, and an efficient numerical method for low-Mach-number aeroacoustic simulations. These contributions support the group's research into drone noise measurement and prediction.
We thank Dr. Zhang for his contributions to the group and wish him continued success as he pursues postdoctoral research with us.
