Our approach

AANTC aims to make its public research, people, publications, news, opportunities and contact information usable with different devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is considered in the shared page structure, content templates and interaction controls.

Current features

• A skip link and semantic headings provide a direct route to the main content.
• Navigation, search, menus, theme controls and content actions can be reached by keyboard and use visible focus styles.
• Pages support browser zoom and responsive layouts from narrow mobile screens to large displays.
• Information is not communicated by colour alone, and informative images use contextual alternative text or captions.
• Motion is reduced when the browser reports a reduced-motion preference, and core content remains available without client-side scripts.
• Forms use visible labels and provide understandable validation messages.

Documents and external content

Some linked publications, documents, maps and third-party pages are maintained outside this website. Their accessibility may differ from AANTC pages. If an external item prevents access to information you need, contact us with the page address and the required content.

Request help or report a barrier

Email pengzhou@ust.hk with the page address, the information or task you were trying to access, and the browser or assistive technology involved. We will use that information to investigate the barrier and provide the requested content in an accessible form where practicable.
