Rotor noise test platform
A rotor aerodynamic and aeroacoustic measurement platform is developed in AANTC to study rotor aerodynamics and aeroacoustics. The rotor locations are accurately controlled by a high-resolution 2D transverse, and the 20 microphones are used to measure the noise properties. The aerodynamic forces are measured using high-accuracy load cells.
