The CFD simulation platform and the wind tunnel test rig are seamlessly integrated for equipment development, following established procedures in aerospace engineering and racing car engineering. The automated CFD platform is used to run a multitude of simulations, between which the geometry of the cycling is modified for aerodynamic improvement. Prototypes are then fabricated and tested in the wind tunnel. Design iterations are conducted to provide incremental gains of the aerodynamic performance while satisfying structural requirements.
