The noise radiation from unmanned aerial vehicles is measured in both anechoic chamber and outdoor environments. The effects of microphone arrangement, data processing method, requirements on whether condition, flight accuracy are studied. The effect of the working different working conditions, and weight and the imbalance are measured. The noise sources and the directivity patterns are measured. The outcome of the measurement partly supports the development of ISO standard on noise assessment led by the research group.
