Rotor noise test platform

A rotor aerodynamic and aeroacoustic measurement platform is developed in AANTC to study the aerodynamics and aeroacoustic of the rotors. The rotor locations are accurately controlled by a high-resolution 2D transverse, and the 20 microphones are used to measurement the noise properties. The aerodynamic forces are measured using high-accuracy load cells. Ref: Han Wu et al., A rotor blade aeroacoustics test platform at HKUST, InterNoise 2020, vol. 261, pp. 2476-2484, 2020.
